Terms of Service

The service

Garage Reframe provides garage design, planning and organization services: concept renders, layouts, product lists, estimates, quote preparation and project coordination support. Garage Reframe is not a licensed contractor and does not perform or contract for construction, installation, painting, flooring, electrical, HVAC or hauling. Those services are performed by independent contractors under their own license, insurance and agreement with you, and billed to you directly.

Fees

Our fees are published on the site and in the Studio and are for design and planning services. The White Glove planning payment is credited toward our fee if you proceed. DIY fees are credited toward Signature within 90 days. Product, delivery, tax, contractor and material costs are separate and payable to the retailer or contractor.

Estimates

Early estimates are ranges built from published cost data and the information you give us. They are not quotes and will change with dimensions, site conditions, materials, availability and contractor pricing. Final prices come from the contractors and retailers you choose.

Concept renders and design credits

Concept renders are illustrations generated from your photos. They are not engineering drawings, not a representation of feasibility, and not a promise of a particular result. One render is free per verified customer; additional render credits are sold in packs, are non-transferable, do not expire for 12 months, and are consumed one per render generated. Refunds follow the Refund Policy.

Your account

You must be 18 or older and provide accurate information. Keep your phone number current; it is how you recover access. Do not upload content you do not have the right to share, and do not use the Studio for anything other than planning garage projects. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service.

Contractors

We may introduce you to contractors we have screened for licensing and insurance at the time of screening. You are responsible for your contract with them, for verifying current license status at cslb.ca.gov, and for payments to them. We are not a party to that contract and are not liable for their work.

Payments

When payments are enabled, they are processed by a third-party provider; we do not store full card numbers. Fees are due as stated in your proposal. Disputed charges should be raised with us first.

Intellectual property

Plans, renders and documents we create for you may be used for your own garage project. The platform, brand and content remain ours.

Disclaimer and limitation

Services are provided “as is.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim related to the services is limited to the fees you paid us for the project concerned. We are not liable for contractor work, product defects, delays or indirect damages.

Disputes

California law governs. Before any formal proceeding, both sides agree to try to resolve disputes informally within 30 days of written notice.

Changes

We may update these terms; continued use after posting means acceptance.

This document was prepared for review by counsel before Garage Reframe accepts payments for services.
